Elderly, handicapped, veteran and low-income residents of Plainwell are eligible to get help with home repairs when TeenServe brings their volunteers to town.

For twenty years, TeenServe, a non-profit, interdenominational Christian volunteer organization headquartered in Rossville, Indiana has been doing home repairs for those in need. They came to Plainwell in 2015, and will be back in July of 2020.

Hundreds of outstanding young people from all over the United States will be coming to serve in your community! These young people are looking forward to working on homes and building relationships throughout the community.

-Jeff LaBelle, co-founder of TeenServe.

Repairs offered through the work camp include interior and exterior painting, weatherization, and wheelchair ramp construction. Homeowners with physical and financial needs are urged to apply to be a worksite. TeenServe will complete work on homes within a 25-mile radius of Plainwell High School. Residents interested in applying to receive assistance may call (800) 596-FIXUP or (800) 596-3498.
