Whether for an emergency or routine surgery, every two seconds someone in our country needs blood. Every two seconds. Blood can be used for transfusions, the plasma for medications - it's really very amazing the life-saving gift that is literally flowing through your veins. Consider giving that gift this Valentine's Day. The American Red Cross and the National Honors Society at Galesburg-Augusta High School are teaming up for a blood drive in the Galesburg-Augusta High School gym, Friday, February 14th from 7:00am to 12:45pm. They are looking for healthy adults who are at least 17 years old, and at least 110 pounds to donate. Spread some love this Valentine's Day and save a life by giving from the heart.
