They assure us it's only temporary, but for now, summer is on hold as Red's is unable to serve up their signature beverage on your car window in Paw Paw.

First, it was toilet paper. The Coronavirus pandemic panic caused a run on toilet paper and store shelves were emptied. The supply of hand sanitizer and antiseptic wipes was cleaned out. Thankfully, for most Americans, the meat shortage was rare, but then it was pickle jars and ketchup that were nearly impossible to find. With lumber prices and now chlorine skyrocketing, what's next? Would you believe root beer?

We're not sure if it is directly related to the global supply chain disruptions caused by COVID-19, or something mechanical, but Red's Root Beer of Paw Paw is currently out of root beer. They say it's a "manufacturing issue" they hope to have corrected soon. Meanwhile, they're still serving up coney dogs and onion rings on the tray that hangs on your car window. I'd suggest a shake instead of a root beer float for now.

We at Red's Rootbeer are sad to inform that starting today, May 3, we will no longer be able to serve our famous Rootbeer until further notice. This is due to manufacturing issues that are temporary. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes as we remain optimistic that this issue will not last long.
