Illinois Has An Undesired 80s Car Museum That Will Take You Back In Time
The 80s were an incredibly unique time in our country's history. I don’t think there was a better example of a time when pop culture, music, or entertainment had ever been so unique and thrust us towards what would become the technological era of the 90s.
Because the 80s were so special a lot of things from the 80s are considered very nostalgic and there is a large market for people who collect things from that period. One of the most collected items without a doubt is classic cars. I know, it's depressing to think that the 80s are already classic, but here we are. But it’s not just the flashy vehicles and the super-eccentric ones that people are into, but what about the plain ones?

The cars that weren’t necessarily flashy but still contain that sweet 80s flavor? Well, there is an actual car museum for cars like that located a short drive from Michigan in Dwight, Illinois, located at 316 W. Waupansie.
The Crazy 80s Car Museum hosts the small, basic, underperforming cars from the 1980s that nobody saved or cared about. As a sign in their museum states, all cars may not have been created equal, but all of them deserve the same amount of love:

This museum is dedicated to the mid-70s to late 80s, a time I remember of coming of age in America. A time in life of freedom and carefree living. This was a special time for me, and I just want others to remember. You won’t see any muscle cars or hot rods in this museum. dedicated to midsize compact automobiles.
