Michigan Really Wants The Insane Clown Posse In The Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame

I think we can all agree that there are many bands who no doubt deserve a place in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame. The problem with it is it’s such a subjective discussion because different bands impact our lives in different ways. One thing is for certain and that is that Michigan has produced some incredible bands.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame has already inducted many of these bands, but there is still a lot that is left off of the ballot. There are even a lot of great singers that are not even in yet. So the Detroit Free Press decided they would ask the people of Michigan who they feel should be on the ballot and I don’t think it’s going the way they planned it to. They have some very recognizable names from Grand Funk, too Rare Earth, but with a commanding first-place lead of over 40% of the vote is the Insane Clown Posse.

That’s right, Joe Bruce and Joe Ustler, better known as Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope of Detroit's ICP have an over 30% lead from the second-place pick of Grand Funk. The people of Michigan have clearly spoken that they want the wicked clowns in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

If this is any indication, the next Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame ceremony better put some tarps down because that place is going to get sprayed with Faygo. I just wonder who they would get to induct them. Who do you think should have the honor of injecting ICP into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame?
