A recent former Detroit Lions player who was a part of their incredible 2023 season was recently removed from a church in Ohio for demanding an explanation from a pastor who was recently accused of having pornography on his laptop.

Jake McQuaide was a long snapper for the Detroit Lions for one season in 2023, but now he’s snapping on a man of the cloth, which had him removed from my church after an explanation given during a sermon was not good enough for him.

Last weekend, McQuaide was at Our Lady of the Visitation in Green Township, Ohio, as one report detailed. The community has been very concerned after a member of the church reported seeing pornographic thumbnails on a laptop, according to WCPO.

As Local 4 explained, McQuaide demanded answers, and the ones they provided weren’t good enough:

McQuaide stood up and asked for clarification, and when he was told that that wasn’t the time for discussion, he pressed on. Green Township police officers were at the church in case the tensions led to problems, and they escorted McQuaide out of the church, according to several reports. He was not charged with any crimes.

I guess when snapping comes easily to a person, he keeps the snap on hand just in case. It's good to know he wasn't charged, or that the situation didn't get ugly, but it is kind of funny to me.

I figure, if a man of the cloth is gonna be looking at any pornography, at least it contains consenting adults. You can watch the altercation below:

Was he right to stand up and ask questions?
