In honor of National Friendship Day, Kellogg's Froot Loops has joined forces with United Way of Battle Creek and Kalamazoo to fight against bullying. Twenty percent of students in middle school and high school experience bullying in one form or another. It's time to start the hard conversations embrace uniqueness. Beginning Monday, August 5th and running that whole week, program attendees will participate in activities and conversations about individuality and friendship. You can find facts, statistics, and conversation starters at StopBullying.gov, DoSomething.org, and the E3 Scholarship Fund website. Together we can build a generation of support and tolerance, but it starts at home. Kick off National Friendship Week with lessons and conversations about how to be a good friend.
