We Asked You To Ruin a Band Name With Food: Here’s What You Said
So WRKR's Benson and Bobby asked you on the RKR Facebook page, to play along and ruin a band's name with food. The example we used was "Fleetwood Mac and Cheese". And then you took the ball and ran with it.
Marisa Monette said "Guns and Bacon". (though there is a school of thought that says anything is better with bacon.)
George Murphy's "Ragu Against the Machine" and Chuck Partian's: "Rage Against the Meatloaf"
More meatloaf suggestions: Kristen Weaver Van Lue said "Spoiled Meatloaf", while Joe Nardis was thinking "Vegetarian Meatloaf".
Steve Reeb said, "Def Peppered". Spicy rock n' roll? And since he was on a roll, he added "AC/D Seafood", "Kid PopRocks", and "Skid Rolls".
Shane Russell cooked up "Motley Stew".
"The Rolling Stone-ground wheat bread", Craig Bogue giving Panera an idea.
Susan LeBlanc offered The Rolling Pebbles.
Chad Packer liked "Sly & the family stone (ground) mustard."
Some classic rock with "Canned Meat" from from Mark.
Remember to grab a beer with "Paul McCartney and Buffalo Wings". That's from Chuck Rawlings. Or wash those wings down with "Beatle juice" (Suzie Eversole)
Trevor Brace's "The Dung Beatles" didn't sound all that appetizing.
Jack Templin Jr. offered "Limp Bizkits and Gravy" and "Black Bean Sabbath". And Jeff Kaski said "Black Sabbath Wafers' Templin worked OT on this project adding "Kanas Style Ribs" and "Ram Grape Jam", "DIO-jon Mustard" and Corn.
Kevin Larson's "Lynyrd skinless chicken breast", with a side of "Almond Brothers", "Jethroe Spaghetti-O's" and "Blue Oyster Crackers".
Two variations here. Thomas Pierce said "Ice Cream" and Kim Coonfer said "Boston Cream".
Scott Partain is another listener who got on a roll with "Red Hot Chili Pumpkins", "Nine Inch Nachos", "Nickelbeans" and "Motley Kumquat".
From the pop music side, Rebecca Lucas-Quirino dished up "Fried Bananarama".
And finally, Eddie Okay gave us "Who Hash" and our own Eric Meier gave us the always appetizing "Steely Ham".
