This year is the 25th anniversary of the very first Roofsit to help support children who have gone through abuse in the Kalamazoo area. This year promises to be the biggest and best yet, as multiple stations under the Townsquare Media Kalamazoo umbrella are teaming up to try and raise $100,000.

On Air Personalities Chelsea Rose from 103.3 WKFR, Dajzon Hughes from the new Throwback R&B Station, The Block, and Meatball & Mark Frankhouse on The Rocker Morning Show on 107.7 WRKR will be broadcasting live on the roof of Helzberg Diamonds on the corner of Westnedge and Milham, from Thursday, May 18th until Saturday, May 20th:

Community Healing Centers’ 25th annual Roof Sit is a fundraiser for programs that support treatment for children who have been sexually or physically abused, treatment and healing for their family, as well as intensive support for parents, infants, toddlers, and children who are facing significant challenges. Help us reach our event 2023 goal of $100,000. The Children’s Advocacy Center and Infant and Parent Services are the two main programs that are funded through Roof Sit.

The bucket brigade will be out and about with buckets where quick donations can be made as well as Tips For Kids at local Shell Gas Stations. All the funds raised with help fund The Children’s Advocacy Center and Infant and Parent Services.

Also, the SPCA of Southwest Michigan will be in attendance on Saturday, May 20th and there is a very good possibility of getting smothered by adorable puppies. The event kicks off with the celebration Dinner & Auction Thursday afternoon, and tickets to this, as well as any additional info for the event, can be found www.roofsit.com
